I try to take good care of my teeth, but now I'm having trouble with my jaw. I've had pain in the jaw several times this winter, and my dentist thinks I'm clenching my teeth while I sleep. She asked if I have been under stress lately, and I damn near laughed. Yeah, you could say that. Brother in law dying, driven away from my church, Trump being elected president, world going to hell. But I didn't say any of that. Also, my bite is slipping to one side. No wonder I'm always biting the inside of my cheek! She showed me some exercises and massage to do with my jaw, and they help, but she also wants me to get a mouth guard to wear at night. Oh, fun. And to top it off, I have a cavity in a spot that's almost impossible to fill (right below the gum line, next to the pocket where my wisdom tooth was). That is going to be painful.
